New island Starrfish:
Apart from these new features, there will be lots of new content to explore. This time you will set foot on Starrfish, a beautiful but dangerous pirate island. Your task will be to find a legendary treasure. But first you will have to learrrn how to talk pirrate and become a real pirate!
Boats are leaving from Yabutu, Banuna and Solahmar. The new island will have some great quests, new monsters and items and lots of great things to explore.
Aurea is free!
There is a big change here! With the autumn update 2010 Aurea has been opened completely for free Players. Enjoy the dungeons, monsters and great quests on TibiaME's main island.
Many of you have wished for a global access to all items you have stored in depots. And here it comes: the global depot. Whenever you enter a depot on any island, it will be like having access to all depots at the same time. The global depot will have room for more than 600 items right from the start: there are 9 pages with 70 slots each.
On your journey through the Tibian lands, the new directional marker will help you find your way. It's like a navigation system which can be easily switched on and off. When it's on, a little arrow indicates the direction you have to walk in order to find the next important waypoint. That's especially helpful during quests. As soon as you come closer to your target location then, you will see a coloured mark in your automap. Additionally, occasional messages will pop up that tell you how many steps you still have to walk until you reach your target.
There will be another feature that makes questing easier for you: The questlog keeps a record of the quests you have completed so far, as well as the quests you have started but not completed yet. Please note that not all quests will be displayed in the questlog right from the start. The rest will be added step by step after the update.
The last important feature are new status icons. When you have received a new letter, or when you are standing in a protection zone, fighting zone or arena zone, a little icon will then show up in your user interface. In the images below, you can see the icons at the lower left: the closed envelope, the shield and the two different crossed swords.
Changes in Weapons and Spells
Changed Difficulty = 30, ManaUsage = 100, Cooldown = 30s and shortend the effect length.
New spell Unsettling Glance:
New soul spell with Difficulty = 8. You can get the spell on Ashmor.
New spell Distracting Gaze:
New soul spell with Difficulty = 20. You can get the spell at the magic academy on Solahmar.
Little sword and Chili stick:
Reduced the Difficulty to 1. This allows Level 1 players to use the weapon.
Reduced the difficulty from 19 to 16.
We have optimized the game's performance. You will notice a large difference when fighting with monsters. Running away or around monsters should not result in a snapback as often anymore. The game will feel more responsive and less laggy.
Changes on Level up:
When your character levels up, it will receive a free refill of its health and mana bar, additionally to the other benefits a level up brings along.
Changes on Achievements:
With the autumn update we will remove the achievements "Special Effects" (for wizards) and "Weaponlord" (for warriors). They will no longer be available for new players, and they will also be deleted from current players' achievement lists. That also means that 1 achievement point will be subtracted equally from all players' achievement score counter.
Fixed the achievement 'Really evil' and 'Play it safe':
Due to technical reasons you will have to deinstall your current TibiaME installation first. Then you can install the new v1.10 client. Please note your character names and corresponding gameworlds first, so that you don't loose access to one of your characters.
